Hello Holy Spirit Middle School!

Welcome to the middle school history blog!

Mr. Hyatt has taken over teaching the 8th grade and is currently teaching about the rev. war and all the issues that came with the war.  He has also assigned the book The Year of The Hangman.  A great historical fiction book about what would have happened if the English won the war.

In 7th grade we are finishing up our Egypt unit, and in 6th grade we are learning about the Persian war between Greece and Persia.   We will have a paper ball fight to recreate one of the battles on Friday.

Students who are running for student council gave their speeches today and they were AWESOME!  We will announce the winners at the end of the day tomorrow (Wednesday).
